Barbara Bonnette has specialized in auctioneering since 1987 and is the owner of Bonnette Auction Company, L.L.C. in Alexandria , Louisiana . Barbara regularly holds consultations and interviews on the auction method of marketing. Holding the title of International Auctioneering Champion, she has been featured in the Today Show as the "best in the business". She brings many years of business and professional experience into the auction field.

Barbara Bonnette's auction company is a nationwide, full service auction and real estate business serving the needs of Central Louisiana and areas around the United States for over 20 years. Barbara specializes in benefit, antique, real estate, business liquidations, vehicle and equipment auctions. She is the principal auctioneer for WalMart and has many affiliations with professional associations and participates in all their educational programs.

Barbara Bonnette, owner and principal auctioneer is a Graduate of Nashville Auction School with a wide range of experience holding licenses in 17 states. She continued her studies through the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) at the University of Indiana . She is also a General Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA). She is a member of the Louisiana Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. Barbara was Past President for the Louisiana Auctioneers Association '97-'99, Past Vice Chairman of the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board, '03-'06 Director of the National Auctioneers Association, notary, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Among Barbara's accomplishments, she won the title of 2006 International Auctioneer Champion, at the National Auctioneers Association convention as well at the 2003-04 1st runner-up. She has won other titles such as the 2000 LA Auctioneers State Champion and had multiple wins in advertising contests.

Barbara is an active member of her community involved in and quite often conducts auctions for several local and national charities. The St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Boys and Girls Clubs, American Heart Assoc., Sickle Cell, Antilles School in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, National Football League and church groups are among those charities to benefit. Barbara is scheduled to do a benefit auction with Nelson Mandela with Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network in South Africa the first 2 weeks in May 2007.
