My name is Bethany Moore. I'm a senior at St. Frederick High School in Monroe Louisiana, but I am a resident of Bastrop Louisiana. 

My platform is an international organization called Volunteers in Mission (VIM) This organization sends mission teams across the globe throughout the year to help places in need. I have been on 4 trips through VIM, 3 of these were to Mexico. I raised $1,200 for an orphanage and food bank in Reynosa, Mexico before i won the state title. I also helped raise $3,500 for disaster relief from hurricane Katrina. 

I am currently involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club and the Governors Program on Abstinence club at my school. I am active in music: both singing and piano. I participate in plays at the local theatre in my town. I played the part of Sandy in the play "Grease". 

My parents are Rev. Roy Bryan Moore and Millie Moore. I have a 22 year old brother, Bryan, who is a senior at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. AND I have two adorable cats named Kate and Leopold.
